God has been talking to me about holding Gatherings in the local area where I live. I have talked it over with my wife and she is in agreement with it. I am not sure how this is going to role out, but I am going to do what God tells me to do. I have been on the receiving end of God’s love, mercy, forgiveness, and compassion for many years, all my life, and now I want to give back to my community. I will be starting by reaching out to the mentally ill in my area. I have a lot of experience in helping mentally ill people.
A Gathering is where a group of people get together to meet for fellowship, fun and food. There is no preaching or laying on of hands with anyone. The Gathering does not resemble any type of Church or Messianic assemblies that I have seen. There will be another meeting time that will be held during the week for those who wish to go deeper and learn the truths that God has shared with me.
There are no tithes and offerings, but if someone wants to contribute to the meal, either by bringing a dish or money towards helping out with the food, that would be greatly appreciated. We want our group to be self-supporting. There is no obligation to bring food or money, except for those who would like to do so.
The meetings are open to anyone in the Halifax, Dartmouth Area in Nova Scotia, Canada and we will also try to have a set up where people can join live to watch via the Internet.
If you would like to join our group, in person or online, feel free to send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Dates and times will be posted in the upcoming weeks. Check back regularly for times and other information.
